The left container has 50 tomato seeds planted. Many of the beefsteaks are for my parents. I over planted just incase some don't take hold + get to choose the best ones if they all sprout.

  • 24 beefsteak
  • 6 brandywine
  • 6 amana orange
  • 6 siletz
  • 4 roma
  • 4 cherry

The right 24 seeds, although the planters are larger so I double planted seeds and will keep the strongest:

  • 6 broccoli
  • 10 hungarian wax pepper
  • 4 arugula
  • 4 lettuce

The tomatoes are going to be in there 7+ weeks and will need to be repotted, hence why I started them in smaller peat pots. I'll probably keep the arugula and lettuce in there the entire time as well since they will have matured by the time the tomatoes are ready. In two weeks or so I'll start my red cabbage, green cabbage, eggplant and a few other things.

Now I gotta figure out how to keep my new lemon tree small. The store pot is 8 inches and I only have an 8-inch and 12-inch pot in my basement, so I need to go buy a 9-10 inch pot tomorrow to replant it.

I planted more seeds too, some kale, cos and green oak lettuce and a bunch of green onions. A few coriander seeds too. All direct sow.

I am not a coriander fan. Planting some dill, parsley and oregano as soon as it's warm enough tho

Oh yeah, you're not in the SDBH discord, so if you're curious this is my current garden plan for this spring. The tomatoes, brassicas, eggplant, american giant sunflowers, peppers and maybe some nasturiums will all be started indoors, the rest direct sow.
