So i ordered a bunch of chestnut trees, several hundred dollars worth. Some were "extra large 6+ foot" grafted trees. They werent cheap. Well, today they arrive, and theyre 3-4 ft. And the "3-4 ft seedlinds" i ordered are maybe 2ft. What the fuck. So i call right away after recieving them, talk to a receptionist about it, and she says the big boss will call me. This is about 3pm on friday. Of course i get no call, im sure he figured he could claim he left the office early friday, didnt get message until monday, and by then he kniws i will have put them in the ground so they dont die. Im pretty pissed right now. Dont know why im even posting this, just half drunk and three quarters pissed off. How the fuck are you going to sell somebody "xl 6+ft" trees, then send them 3-4ft trees? What a bunch of faggots. This was burnt ridge nursery in WA, for the record. Buyer beware.

Options are partial refund to match the cost of the smaller trees. Total refund and buy from another business. They bring out the correct trees. Can't you just keep the root balls moistened so they don't die? It's always more beneficial financially if you try to reach a mutual agreement before the flaming otherwise they have nothing to lose and are far less likely to want to correct the issue. Also don't underestimate the power of online reviews with word of mouth. I for one check the bad reviews of all new businesses I deal with because then you know what the worst case scenario you could be facing is.

Yeah, i could heel the roots into some loose soil to keep tgem alive i guess, then ship them back. But fuck me, washington state has crqzy strict laws about tree importing. Cant order chestnut trees from out of state, so there are only like 2 nurserys i can deal with to get them, and i really want chestnut trees. They kind of have me by the short hairs here. They wont bring out the "correct" trees. Theyre on the opposite side of the state, shipped my trees via ups. The receptionist i taljed to made an excuse about how they only have 5ft boxes, so they cut trees to fit in them. So my question was, if you know damn good and well you cant ship trees bigger than about 4ft, why do you put them in your catalog as "6+ ft?" Thats blatant misrepresentation of your product. Call them 4+ ft. Weak excuse, holds no water. End of the day, if i send these back, i wont ever have chestnuts on my property. So im kind of taking it in the ass, but im not happy about it.
