I have a few raised beds but I let them go a little bit next year. I’m tempted to get back into things this year and am curious what you guys are growing.

A small garden out back. Once the weather breaks here. Probably plant romaine, tomatoes and cucumbers and whatever the old lady wants.

Sounds like a solid mix of the basics. Any peppers in the mix? I’ve recently learned I like red and yellow bell peppers. They’re not bitter like the green ones.

Could be a good idea. A buddy of mine grew some crazy hot peppers last year. Nearly burned my butthole off coming out. Green peppers are good in beans with rice.

I'm planning on planting a lot of bushes for a privacy fence.

What kind of bushes are you looking to plant. Bougainvillea would be beautiful.

I'm thinking Lilac since they thrive in my climate. Also, I don't have much of a green thumb and they seem to be pretty low maintenance.

Lilac is a good choice, we have two bushes and the smell is so strong for a few weeks each year. I was thinking of something that block the view and prevents trespass.

I have Amaranth growing indoors and praying I can keep them healthy and have a good transplant. Great for making your own flour, easy harvesting and a great addition to cereal.

I also have raspberries, grapes, blueberries, fig and avocado plantain trees/shrubs growing very nicely. Trying to get my melons, cucumbers and corn and cukes going... gardening is great!

I have kind of limited space so vine plants are kind of out for me. I have thought of doing a vertical wall for cucumbers. Have you ever seen the pumpkins in a hammock?

Pumpkins in a hammock sounds really neat. I used netting to tie my melons up off the ground wonder if this is what you are talking about <- no not this :) but this -> either way a hammock/net is cool, ventilates air around it and stops it from rotting or getting eaten by pests.

Yes, yes go vertical it has to be done in small spaces even possible indoors with good lighting and something to capture water drips etc.

If you do, post pictures... :)

Lol those are both awesome! I might like the first a little better. I’m kind of a Halloween nut. Every year I build a new prop to scare the neighbors.
