He's been touted as "the new Bergkamp" wich is high fucking praise in NL or Amsterdam. He's a very technical and smart player, And it's been all deserved i have to say.

He has a good personality as well, very humble so +1.

Edit: comparrisson: He's playing way better then Ibrahimovic during his debut season for Ajax when he was 19.

The prices for football players, and especially mediocre players have skyrocketed to absurdity in the last 2 years. I'd rather see Dolberg play weekly and evolve for 2-3 years at Ajax instead of rushing him. But I have that stance on almost all youthplayers going for cash before they are 22-23. You see all to often that young players go to big clubs, end up benched, not playing, hence not evolving their skills and jeopardising their careers.

Completely agree. You'll see all these top clubs cherry picking all the best talent in Europe just for them to warm the bench or go out on loan to ten different clubs over the next five years and then be released. The most important thing for a footballers development at that age is just game time, not the amount of zeros on their paycheck. Dele Alli has been brilliant for England and Spurs and has come on incredibly quick. A lot of that comes down to his 70 odd games in the lower divisions, playing week in week out. Yes it was a lower quality of football, but it's better experience to play against men, rather than other kids in the reserves.
