Dude, at range it's possible to sidestep an arrow regardless of the bow type it's fired from. Do that with a bullet.

There is a Remington rifle I want, but I'm leaving California in less than a year and I'll buy it then. Buying a gun in Cali is so fucking retarded. I even had an in-state crossbow purchase get customs inspections because 'crossbows are firearms' in California, no joke. Archery ranges do not allow xbows because they are firearms.
