It's not the fact of climate change, but the rate of change

If the rate of change is too fast, it is as deadly as slamming into brick wall.

At the end of the last Ice Age, the oceans rose hundreds of feet over several hundreds of years.

similar changes would be very inconvenient for most cities and most of the world populations who happen to live close to the coasts.

The essential question is "what is the rate of change?" If the rate of change is "too damn fast" then we have a problem --- This is a practical question.

And then the other question is, even if humans are totally innocent of fucking shit up (because they never fuck shit up) what can be done to mitigate the situation?

It seems to me that the primary argument against climate change is essentially that Humans never fuck shit up, and that it is impossible for humans to fuck up the climate.

This seems impressively optimistic to me. I have a strong faith in the incredible power of human stupidity

As I noted above, we've survived far more rapid changes than these hoaxers are fear mongering about.

You eluded to one yourself. The Younger Dryas. Let me check.... Yup, I have a pulse.

If humans didn't do it, which they didn't, it implies there is precisely dick you can do about it. Adapt. As we have always done. You can not control the earth.

It seems to me that the primary argument against climate change is essentially that Humans never fuck shit up, and that it is impossible for humans to fuck up the climate.

Here's what really pisses me off about climate hoaxers and their ilk.

There is plenty of shit that is actually fucked up, but assholes like this draw attention and resources away from actual problems with real solutions to chase manufactured fake crisis in order to profit.

I personally think that the action of humans are in fact fucking up the planet, and that we were on the slow trend to another ice age until the advent of the industrial revolution. and that humans have a marvelous track record for fucking things up.

carbon dioxide levels are increasing at stable steady rate

  • Is this a hoax?
  • If not a hoax, what is the cause?

If we did stop an ice age, which we didn't and is ridiculous, but if we did then that is a good thing.

I means thriving life instead of dying in the cold.

Fuck an ice age.
