Everyone being equally poor is not something to strive for. In the short term it will make lazy degenerates happier because it's "free" welfare, but it will rapidly turn into full blown communism with labor camps once enough people drop out of the labor force and become wholly dependent upon the government

When everyone has money, no one does and no one works. I can't believe people don't understand this today.
