Three weeks ago I saw a large charge on my bank card from amazon, I went to amazon and looked at my order history. Nothing so I called amazon filed a complain and closed my account.

I contacted my bank to dispute the charge, I did get a full refund as the account was closed. My question is how did someone use my account and card to place a order and it not show on my order history ?.

If it was a third party service how could that be done without my knowledge, the charge was $160 so prime video would have been a lot of videos.

Without two factor authentication enabled, all they would need is your amazon password. Assuming they have it, connecting your amazon account to their service is as trivial as connecting a google or facebook account to something.
