I don't remember much else but the end which woke me up.

But myself and a group of friends were out in the forest at night. Camping or something. We heard bushes rustling around the edge of the clearing. And my buddy, assuming it was just a wild animal, started throwing rocks at whatever it was to scare it off.

I guess one hit, because then the creature stood up, silhouetted by the moonlight, standing over 7 feet tall. It then turned and started rushing towards us.

All I remember is the hulking beast hitting the threshold of the clearing and becoming bathed in moonlight. A soft sort of bluish silver glow as I saw it's long fangs and dreaded hair. It ran towards me before veering off to my left at my friend.

The last thing I remember is trying to scream and not being able to. According to my girlfriend I awoke with a start and a sort of choking gasping sound.

David never had a chance.

I'm a bit envious of how well you described a dream GJ

Thank you. Although it was just the last few minutes that really stuck with my after I awoke.
