Organizing Games Anyone up for the next game of Dippy?

I'd be willing to GM next. Whether as a dedicated GM, or as a GM-player, would depend on the final number of players who want a re-match, and what variant they'd prefer.

One change I would do is week-long turns. The 2-3 days per turn felt a bit rushed, especially with players who didn't respond right away and/or had to be caught in IRC to squeeze a reply out of them.

I take back what I said about barring people from playing the same country again. I kind of want to be kebab now.

I also support not supporting PMYA's idea, which was originally a support of my idea supporting playing different nations.

Those responsible for the original supporting have been sacked.

Diplomacy is a strategic board game created by Allan B. Calhamer in 1954 and released commercially in 1959. It's main features from other board games are it's negotiation phases, where players talk to each other, forming alliances and other deals, and the complete lack of luck in the resolution of combat in the game. It has a wide player-base both online and in e-mail and even postal games.
