Thanks to everyone who played in this game, I had a lot of fun. This thread is to be used for all discussion about the game itself - from what you think worked and didn't, to what you might have done differently or better, and how you think everyone handled themselves. well, educated guesses vs making it up as i go lol

but yeah, my long term goals were to kick you off the mainland with russia and/or italy and isolate you with only 3 SC's and turn on whoever backstabs me in the process with turkey (@pmya).

Mmm. Were those plans (particularly with Russia) actually talked about with him yet, or were they just something you were planning to do once Germany was gone?

if i recall right, they weren't fleshed out but they were directly mentioned in talks.

Looks like I was fortunate in going for broke and attacking you both then. If I had left one or the other, I might have been vulnerable to a counter-attack from the other side.

Diplomacy is a strategic board game created by Allan B. Calhamer in 1954 and released commercially in 1959. It's main features from other board games are it's negotiation phases, where players talk to each other, forming alliances and other deals, and the complete lack of luck in the resolution of combat in the game. It has a wide player-base both online and in e-mail and even postal games.
