When I did mine I used a router and I had one of those $5 hazmat suits to wear while milling it. On my very last cut the router moved or I measured wrong so I have a really big trigger slot on mine.

Yeah found that if you fuck it up too bad you can just get a drop in trigger and be good.

So no bad thing there I guess.
