If you are going to Reddit to try find information about Coronavirus, you're most likely getting a washed down perspective of it.

I, like many others, have been following /r/coronavirus specifically but also /r/china_flu. But if you have a look at the moderators of those subs and /r/epidemic it is the same people.

Either these people love Coronavirus (maybe they have it) or there is something more shadier than that. Narrative control?

While I'm unsure of the why and how. The consequence is that a lot of posts are being deleted as "rumours" or "spreading misinformation". This is problematic as the information about this virus isn't set in stone. This is the first time such a strand of virus has impacted humanity. Yet these mods are deleting what could be vital information about the spread of the virus, the details, what the situation in China is like etc. We are missing out on a lot.

I won't be deleting anything in this sub aside from spam. Use your votes to decide what information is best.
