These prisoners have been convicted of serious crimes. Due to their political or religious beliefs, they have been placed in special units within existing federal prisons. Prisoners placed in these units are extremely limited in their ability to communicate, with some being denied all together, since all correspondence must be conducted in English. There cameras in the living quarters, and in many cases these people are denied legal counsel after their placement.

US citizens are not citizens after conviction. The bill of rights does not apply if no one can find you.
