The murals are every bit as creepy as you'd expect, and there's way more than just the four mentioned in this video. Every terminal has at least a few paintings or murals that relate to death or war.
I never found the mustang, but I'm convinced that artist was flipping a middle finger to the local government, and when he actually died during the creation of the statue there was no way to get around using it in the final construction. Either that, or he was some freaky occult sacrifice for the dedication.
