I had a layover at Denver one time and my next flight got delayed a few hours, so I actually had the chance to go exploring. Man, the place is massive. I could have wandered for days. Construction everywhere. I got so lost (in a literal sense) I almost missed my connecting flight.
The murals are every bit as creepy as you'd expect, and there's way more than just the four mentioned in this video. Every terminal has at least a few paintings or murals that relate to death or war.
I never found the mustang, but I'm convinced that artist was flipping a middle finger to the local government, and when he actually died during the creation of the statue there was no way to get around using it in the final construction. Either that, or he was some freaky occult sacrifice for the dedication.

he said somewhere there that when inside its like the airport is taunting you. definitely the best description i've heard of that place. you can't go 2 minutes without noticing something bizarre or disturbing. and the terror horse is worst of all.
