Intelligence services always love to get the "true believers" and "useful idiots" for doing their dirty work since their devotion gves unquestionable loyalty. It's interesting to see the CIA shift from the preferring the ultra patriotic and religious fundamentalists to the woke.
In a weird way it really does make sense for the CIA to do this in the modern era and look for the most dogmatic people out there who have already shown limited critical thinking but abundant willingness to feel their cause is righteous and all means are justified.
