'sup smallpond?
People, individuals, are doing what is needed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The exception is the very welathy that feel they're above it all. I don't believe there is a climate crisis since people really are aware of the fragility of our biosphere and are slowly solving the problems themselves, without the need for a cost prohibitive green new deal. Energy companys are slowly moving to solar, wind, and hydro power. Nuclear needs new facilities, built using safe and efficient designs produced and in use at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. They have a young genius that produced his doctoral thesis on integration and totally safe design. It was theoretical, but appears to be the real deal. it's pretty exciting, but won't be built commercially for some years as all tests need to be run to prove it really is foolproof and less costly to build than existing designs, with integrated cooling and other new ideas.

Organisations like Extinction Rebellion are trying to encourage an effort of wartime proportions to correct the greenhouse gas imbalance and natural resource shortages, but they may already be too late as positive feedbacks like arctic permafrost, forest burning, and sea ice cover may already have put the issue beyond our control.

Rest assured that business-as-usual techophile bullshit you're harping on about is just death in pretty clothes.
