That's essentially what the paper is claiming--unless you're saying to be skeptical because it is only one paper, in which case, yeah, we'll see how this plays out and what other research says about cloud cover.

That actually hasn't been true for some time. They have restricted uploads to a reputational system. You now have to be endorsed to upload. Even if it were true, it doesn't contradict anything I said.

The Japanese paper seems interesting - of course it's a hell of a long way from finding that man-made climate change doesn't exist. I wouldn't hold your breath on that count.
