Humans cannot completely control nature

What a vacuous statement. There's a huge list of things we cannot completely control, but we can fuck them up nonetheless.

I don't see it as a vacuous statement, I see it as a fact. The fact we screw up other things without controlling them is irrelevant. And honestly I don't think I'd want to live in a world where humans have been able to achieve complete control of the climate. Let Mother Nature keep control.

Strictly speaking we cannot 'completely control' anything. Working in absolutes isn't smart.

No absolutes: we now share control. To a high degree of confidence, we understand our effect on the climate through greenhouse gas emissions (and our effect on the ozone layer), but of course we don't control many things, including the sun's intensity, and the runaway heating effects that are likely to come into play if we continue on our stupid course of artificially heating the planet.
