I am so sorry for your loss (have 2 cats) but what a beautiful way for him to go, with the one he loved the most. From your lap to God's lap.
Two hours later and I haven't moved. Still have his body on me. Working up going to bury him still.
My dad came over and we just finished burying him. Girl cat is being oddly affectionate at the moment.
He'd been sick for a while, but was doing so much better. Everything kind of went to shit about two weeks ago when he could suddenly not even jump on the couch on his own anymore. He was quite bad when I found him in the morning, freezing cold and panting. Wrapped him up in his towel and put him on my lap. It was around 3 hours til he passed then. It's been near constant crying, it's probably been 2 decades since I've cried.
Sorry to hear that I have always loved the special kitties! Think how much you loved him though.
