She was wet, skinny as hell and had matted fur and fleas.

It most certainly is. If only it was on a box.
Good on you all.
Not sure if it applies to your cat but something to keep an eye on: https://www.lifewithcats.tv/2016/01/31/the-truth-about-pure-white-cats-with-blue-eyes/
Actually after some more tests. I'm not so sure. She is a lot more unresponsive to sound than I initially realized.
One of my cats went deaf when they got older. I used to have a small pen torch(or anything with a small focused light) that she would come running to if she could see it and got out late at night. After seeing her almost get wiped out by a car though one day, her trips outside were reduced to when I was around.
Thanks for the heads up.
After a quick test though, I think she can hear.
As some of you know, I'm not living in the most well constructed house right now.
Last week, this little bugger worked her way through the floor. She stayed for a night before escaping by clawing her way through a patch in our window. Talk about dine and dash.
Two days later we found her again near by and brought her back home.
So now I kind of have another cat. She's a big fan of this box, to escape the dogs harassment.
