So today I begin the slow murder of my geriatric kitty.
She's had 17 good years, and will probably still get one more. I guess we can't complain.

It's always a tough choice, personally I always opt for the pain drugs for myself and when I'm completely enfeebled and there's no hope of getting back to a life where I can gain some enjoyment I hope someone euthanizes me. It's extremely tough following through with tough choices like this but knowing you did right by your cat really helps with the torment of those lingering "what if" questions.
