So I was just looking at the Canadian court structure, while all the articles just say "Ontario court" and do not specify which one from what I can gather this person can still make at least 1 appeal.

I know nothing about this case or what he published, however I am somewhat familiar with the Mike Ward case:

Personally I would love to see anyone convicted of "speech" crimes on Canada offered Asylum in the US. It would be an excellent way for America to take a stand for a more rational world. Sure a lot of people would flip out, but those facists can go fuck themselves and move to a country that doesn't allow free speech.

that would be gold if we started granting asylum for actual free speech cases instead of just economic migrants
