I feel like America is getting back to where we were before prohibition. In the late 90's we finally started repealing a lot of the lingering laws and regulations that caused oligopolies which let us get back to something so basic and that was a huge part of the fabric of our history. How many generations of Americans worked farming grains (which of course would be preserved as alcohol). It's great to see this heritage being taken back with the return of local breweries and brewpubs.
