I just checked some names for deathpool to see if there had been any more deaths. I went to search for "Glen Campbell" to see if he's still breathing, and when i typed in "glen" something weird happened.
Google suggested that I should search for "glencore share price". I have never searched for this, ever. I have never looked up information about stocks at all before, and I don't even know what Glencore is. A quick search on trends shows that the search term is at a 5 year low. There are no recent articles about Glencore.
Why the fuck is this being suggested to me? Is Google fucking around with stocks, or is someone using their search engine as a tool to do it?
It's Google, so it's quite possible that you were grouped into a "search bubble" with someone else who was searching for Glencore, which could explain why they suggested that to you. Maybe both you and some mystery people Googled both "rare pepe" and "HWNDU" multiple times, so they linked you with them and show you suggestions for them.
