I didn't know they had a lot of ballistic missiles. But yeah that would be a good target. Better get ready for the counterattack though.

It appears you are correct, and I misremembered. Looks like they might be developing some, but that is far from a large arsenal. Haven't pulled up the map, but I'm not sure 2000 km is enough range anyway. That does make the position more dire for Taiwan and makes China more likely to act aggressively.
Too bad Taiwan doesn't have a nuclear program with IRBMs. With the population densities and sizes of the cities, would be MAD for both sides if even one hit lands, so hopefully that strong deterrence discourages the leaders from getting delusions of grandeur and the attack never happens.

I was thinking if I were Taiwan I'd have my artillery pointed at the plants if I didn't already have demolition teams ready.
