I live in the south and that is not a thing down here. Cucumber sandwiches are, though, among some older folks.

Try peanut butter, tomato and mayo. No matter how much I cried and begged her not to make them, my mom always explained to me that they were my favorite.

I've lived in the south most of my life and never heard of it until today, a dude I work with has eaten them since he was a kid. I googled it and apparently Dale Earnhardt, Jr. is way into them. The more I think about it the grosser is becomes. Also peanut butter, tomato, and mayo sounds rough.

I cried when my mom sent me one to school in kindergarten.

Now, seriously, a "cucumber sammich"is a real thing. Common. White bread, mayo and slices of peeled cucumber. Thing for me is I never liked mayo. Supposedly you have to use Duke's mayo for it to be the real deal.

I love cucumber sandwiches and I'm under 40. Tomatoes and mayo make for a great sandwich but peanut butter just doesn't belong in that combo.
