For context, I just took a smelly turd. I went to go to the bathroom to wash my hands. There's the option of either hot or cold, individually. I prefer warm, but that's simply impossible. It's either get the brief bit of warmth then scold your hands off or freeze your hands off. Is there a technique I should be using to stop my hands from getting third degree burns? What am I supposed to do?

In a pinch a plastic coke bottle will do as a temporary hot/cold mixer. Other wise the general method is turn both taps on, fill up your hands with hot while its heating up then add some cold if needed. If you have gas then do the opposite cup your hands full of colder water then fill with hot until its the right temp then wash. Both methods just rinse with cold. Other wise a plumber will fix it for you but it will cost 150-200 bucks.
