It's pretty much the trend to hate on newer kinds of music when you're older.

I'm a young fellow. I don't listen to all new songs out there. But I don't mind some of it. A lot of swearing appears to be casual in pop now, I find it a bit awkward to listen to. I've never been able to get into rap for the same reasons. Swearing in music sticks out like a sore thumb for me and kind of ruins it.

How do you feel about today's music? Are you an old timer who wants to listen to a symphony orchestra on your gramophone or do you want to blast out today's music on your iPod?

I think the problem with todays pop is that it's not produced by musicians but studios. They hire someone good looking and hope autotune and a big marketing budget do the music.

I've never been into rap, but I'm fine with swearing in general.
