A few years ago, we used to do a paper run around town. Most papers would put into people's letterboxes, others you'd go up to their house and have a short conversation with them.

There was one house which was the absolute worst, but the elderly lady in it was alright. She had an art deco house from the 30's. It was the most untidy, grotty house I've seen.

The front of her house was covered in snails, mould, water leaks. The front door was blocked off so you never could use that part.

That leads me onto the really bad stuff. At the back, the house was absolutely covered in mould and rain damp on the exterior. What made it worse is that we'd stand on a little rickity wooden step, rotting from the guttering on the roof not having a side pipe.

It was slippery, disgusting and something that appeared to be unfit for living in.

I don't know how people can live like that. The issues with that type of neglect would compound into something worse and worse. I wonder if the council will ever pull that house down?

I used to clean womens restrooms.

My (anti-)favorite was the time someone shit behind the toilet in the stall. The turd was BEHIND the toilet, I don't even know how you go about laying it there. There were no drag or bounce marks, just... that's where it landed and stayed. There was also shit UP the wall on the other side of the toilet (corner stall). Again, just semi-liquid and up the wall like it was shot out of a cannon. There may or may not have been a tampon on the floor of this one, but I can't remember all the details. This is all pretty well repressed at this point.

Well in my youth I was homeless in Calgary. Always found places to lay my head but one night a friend asked if I could hang with him. Brought me to a squat the likes of which I had never imagined. Looked worse than anything I had ever seen on tv or film. To get in the place you had to climb through a window onto a heaping toilet of god knows what. Graffiti on the walls, multiple fire burns, garbage everywhere, rotten mattresses with springs showing through and there were several levels which we never visited. Sounded like a woman being raped and loud yelling from upstairs. Don't know why I stayed.

Update on the squat is that soon after it was bought and it was turned into high end condos. Lol, I wish I could have shown those yuppie fucks what the place used to be. Really wish I had taken pics of that god forsaken hellhole.

In high school I watched our football teams tight end split his shin bone down the middle and come out on the sides.
