Why is the migrant caravan displaying the flag of Honduras?

Despite fleeing their nation that has failed them their main goal is generally to make money here and send it home. They aren't interested in American exceptionalism or the fundamental beliefs that made this nation great. We're probably the easiest country to obtain citizenship in the world. The fact they generally don't even try illustrates their disrespect for our country.

Good question. If I were seeking asylum in a foreign country, I'd do everything possible to assimilate and increase my chance of success there. Not sure why waving the flag of the place you're literally fleeing makes any sense.
