@Jobes mentioned having never thought of calling a dream an asshole which reminded me of something a friend of mine and I have in common. Other than dreams and most everything else, I read into the characteristics of a room quite a bit. If I leave a room I may not turn the lights or music off so as to not disturb the mood/ambiance of the room and any time I move I "pour one out" so to speak for each room as it's identity to me dies.
What about you phukkers, have any named objects in your house? Any gadgets you don't want to upset? Some knickknacks that definitely have an attitude?
Besides my fat girl cat that gets names like "you deserve the male cat trying to rape you when you sit like that all day"?
I used to personify my shampoo bottles until I had this horrible nightmare about drowning in my bathtub when I was going through alcohol withdrawal back when I used to drink waaay too much. I was laying in bed hallucinating that my shampoo bottle was in my mouth suffocating me and pumping shampoo into my eyes. I figured it was because of my constant abuse of the bottle using it like a thing when it really was a person.
True alcohol withdraw is a fate worse than death. I have not personified anything in my shower, or really anything at all since then.
