There are a lot of political articles posted on phuks so I’m curious if any of you phukers are hitting the pavement for your candidate at the mid terms?

I need some ideas on how to help out my candidates without doing the annoying shit that everyone hates. When I go to my candidates headquarters I’m always told my help is needed in cold calling and knocking on doors. There are few things I hate more then people I don’t know knocking on my door and people calling my phone during election season. I refuse to do either of those things. So I have to become creative in my support.

Besides giving financial support to the campaign here are the other ways I’ve been supporting:

I bought my candidates yard signs. I gave out signs to all friends and family who are local and keep the rest in my car so when I meet fellow supporters without a sign I happily can retrieve one for them. People get truly excited when this happens.

I keep postcards with me. Easy to place in coffee shops and other similar places when I’m out.

I’m vocal to my friends, family and neighbors that I’m available on voting day to help those needing assistance to the polls. I plan to have the whole day blocked off to be of service.

I’m hosting a donation dinner/party next month. Booze and politics, there’s entertainment!

Any other ideas that don’t include cold calling or door knocking?

Edit: I forgot to add. I also support by bringing caffeine and pizza to the headquarters. There is so much energy in that building, young hopeful adults that need fuel.
