If so, when was the last time you used it?
Do you use it for books or other media?

I was thinking about this earlier. When I was in school I spent a lot of time in the library, it was where I did 90% of my learning.
Now I can't remember the last time I was in one. I just have no use for them now that there is easy access to the internet.

But every time I walk by the local library there are people in it. And young ones too.
What are you guys doing in there?

No card, but I go to the library to read when I need some peace and quiet. There's some information in books you can't find online.

On the internet, the first thing you see is exactly what you searched for. At the library, you have to look past a lots of titles to find the book you want to read, and that leads to seeing lots of new topics you'd miss otherwise.

I haven't had one in years. If I go to a library, it's to look at reference material you can't check out anyway, so I don't need a card. My sister has one, because she can borrow ebooks to read on her nook.

I have a couple, don't go often though, I don't have much time and pretty must everything I read is required for expensive career related programs.

Last used it about a month ago. Mostly for old books that aren't available as ebooks.

I have three Fort McMurray AB (over 3y now) Toronto Public Library (month or so ago) Peel Public Library Card (weekly)

Im a law student, so I use the computers and reference books to use my assignments. Id rather do my assignments the old fashioned way by looking up indexes for information, and applying it to my work.

I use mine to download audio books using the overdrive app.

Sometimes I'll checkout a physical book or movie.

I do not. I mostly end up at the library to print something these days (cheaper than the copy shop). Haven't read a book since 2006.

Yes. A few weeks ago, for a book. I need to read books more, but... I just don't.

Yes indeed. Last time was a couple days ago. I can log into my local library's website and check out books directly to my kindle. No worries about overdue books. Easy to renew. Last time I physically went into a library was to check out Hillary Clinton's "What Happened". When it's by an author I like I just buy the actual book or ebook. It's important to be able to read something from time to time that pisses all over your bias. It let's one form better thought out positions on issues.
