In another country? Warm climate? Be a snowbird and move between a summer and winter residence?

Have you been? It may not be the tropical paradise you imagined. Kidnapping and drug trade is real there.

A small remote island, far from a major population center, with a nasty reef around it.
I know the perfect spot, but I ain't telling anyone.

One on the north pole, one on the south pole.

... western America, somewhere. I've visited some places but they were mostly cities. I've lived most of my life in the southeast, some of it in big cities, and I want to see mountains when I walk outside. I want to shoot gats at those mountains.

Not sure if serious but me to for a while. I'll be driving to various rivers.

It's both me being serious and goofing off. I would like to get an RV and travel when I retire.

California, sunny, English speaking, and not Southern. But since with the field I want to go into I may have to move there to work, I might change my mind.

I thought I'd bought where I was going to retire but got offered a price I couldn't refuse for the land after a year. It was a good investment while I never intended it to be.

Kind of like where I am now, somewhere close to cities without being in one. A smaller house and yard would be nice, though.
