I can't stand it when someone starts talking about "day of the rope". It's extremely disturbing. Acting like civil war is going to break out any day now and they're gonna get to go out for a fun lynching with their pals.

"Day of the rope" makes me cringe, and its obviously just another forced meme and radicalization technique. Still, its wise to prepare.

By far the most obnoxious and community-killing aspect of voat is the sarcasm. This is where my username comes from. Every single comment just bends Poe's law over, and rails in the ass like there's no tomorrow. This is certainly not organic.

Another one is any mash-up of words used as an insult. "libtard," "cuckservitive," and so on. Again, it makes me cringe, and I'm positive no one actually uses these words. Its just false flag mud slinging to make people lose their minds with rage.

In short: everything that is wrong with voat is by design, there is a pervasive subversion designed to drive away rational thought, meant to control communication without overtly censoring.
