A little over a year ago we sat down and ran some numbers. My wife was making a lot more than I was. When we looked at all the added taxes and other related costs of my working (gas, vehicle wear and tear, etc) it turned out I was actually only making a couple dollars an hour. So I quit work and now putter around our house out in the country.
