I basically trust people a million times more than normal people trust others... I've had to develop really hard to not just trust anyone and put a filter on it. Been stolen from and robbed so many times because I don't even consider anyone a thief until afterwards... I do the same with money, I lend it without contract.... never had a knack for knowing people can be selfish.

Can I ask you a serious question? Do you regularly smoke pot? It's still illegal in my area and I haven't smoked it in years but I noticed the thieving dickbags in my life dried up when I stopped. I'm not making some "it's a gateway drug" argument or any of that nonsense.

I haven't had the problem nearly as much since I quit... However before I started I had it quite a bit too... It's just my fatal flaw and I've gotten better at dealing with it since being in Fort McMurray, Ontario. I worked my ass off and got so little for my efforts there... Housing? Kicked out after paying first and last twice.... Second time I got the law on my side and we stayed.. but it was a brutal wake up experience that taught me to never trust anyone. No matter how nice they present themselves.
