A friend sent me a link but it seems fishy. But...I wouldn't imagine seeing CNN or Fox News report on this until they got their agenda right.

well, in syria, not Iran

2.6 earthquake

Calculates out to the equivalent of a few hundred pounds of TNT

https://www.easycalculation.com/other/earthquake-magnitude-tnt-explosion.php

which make sense, and is not really a nuke.

So... Iranian military base got his so hard that neighboring countries felt a measurable earthquake.

I hear rumors within the past week that the US was going to be dropping a MOAB. I wish I could find a source for that, but uhh... shit. Trump wouldn't be dumb enough to bomb an Iranian base, would he?

Same source reporting possibility that Israel may be behind the attack: "Israel has threatened to continue targeting Iran's presence in Syria, accusing Tehran of undermining Israeli national security."

This would also make sense because Israel likes to play "got your nose" with enemies when they know they have the US military behind them. Fucking cowards, they are.

More of the same from a different source: https://www.i24news.tv/en/news/international/middle-east/173548-180430-syrian-army-says-missiles-fired-at-military-outpost-new-enemy-aggression

Israel has repeatedly voiced concern over the increased presence of Iranian forces in Syria. "We will not allow Iranian entrenchment in Syria, no matter the price to pay," Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman declared this month."Every outpost in which we see Iran positioning militarily in Syria, we will destroy, and we will not allow this no matter what the price," he reiterated in an interview with a Saudi news outlet last week.

It's looking like it may actually be Israel.

This could totally be Israel. It makes sense from their point of view.
The longer the US stays in Syria, the better for them. Agitating Iran, and others is the smart play right now.

Fucking cowards

I understand if you don't like them. But in this instance, it would be a good move, from their perspective. It keeps their people safer at the expense of other people.
That's standard motive for any nation.

Any operation that can win a battle or conflict without taking any casualties, is a good one.
No honour in war, right?
Let's hate them for the correct reasons. :)

To clarify, I don't dislike Israel because of "the jews!!!1one" but because of what I stated. They like to hide behind big brother USA and throw rocks at their neighbors.

Maybe they're playing 4D chess and I'm playing Old Maid, I don't know. Maybe it does keep them safer. They just seem like shitbirds from my perspective.

Some people would only wish Trump was behind an attack like that.

Got the link you received? Haven't heard anything.

This is such a terrible fake news source. Good lord this guy is a fearmonger with totally unsubstantiated claims, making a huge headline then in small print saying that it's "now widespread BUT UNCORROBORATED rumors" about the headline. Shoot first, ask questions later.

Dude cropped a video from the Wikileaks twitter claiming that he had direct contact with the cameraman.

Still digging, but there's talk of a small earthquake being triggered by missile strikes against Iranian military assets in Syria. They admit the reports are unconfirmed. https://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/world-news/699359/syria-attack-missile-war-earthquake-hama-aleppo

Edit: Probably unrelated. Seems this is actually the same location mentioned in the original report, though twitter is the source for both stories near as I can tell. Still waiting on a secondary source. Probably not a nuke, but a big fuel-air bomb or an arms/fuel depot going up could explain it.

Such things have happened in yemen in what looks suspiciously like a neutron bomb. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I1ycCiylGiM

Not debating, just adding on...

Such things have happened in yemen in what looks suspiciously like a neutron bomb.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mushroom_cloud

"The effect is most commonly associated with a nuclear explosion, but any sufficiently energetic detonation or deflagration will produce the same effect."

It's more associated, in the context of physics, with a high-density detonation than specifically a nuclear bomb. A nuclear bomb just happens to be that exact situation, too.
