May the Gods grant you what you seek, for it is a noble cause. I know Voat is about to die, no question about it. What was once a "bastion of free speech", dissimilar from reddit, has simply become an echo chamber of forum sliders and narrative builders.
I came to Voat about a year and a half ago, right before shit really hit the fan it seems. When I first posted there it was easy to find a niche and talk to people who actually wanted to discuss things. Now its just what reddit has always called it: a platform for hate.
Sure, I hate things. I hate whats happened to my people, I hate how my government handles affairs, I hate how my neighbors view me. But I don't have hatred in my heart. I simply wanted a place to speak my mind and listen to others do the same.

phuks is a great community but lacking on the free speech part. I respect their wishes here and I am still going to hang around here as long as they will have me. I just want to make sure someone out there is standing up for the people that want to run around hating fat people and saying the n word or the c word or calling out feminism on its bs I don't want that platform not to exist so I'm trying to make it because voat is dead.

We watched homeward bound. I like this place, I like voat too I think voats days are numbered and I don't want that community to die so I'm putting up a replacement and the gents here were kind enough to let me use their source. Took a while to figure out how to make it work but I did and now I've got a domain and hosting on a free speech hosting service and I'm going to give it my best shot.
