That's the way of America, it's literally a country built from and out of immigrants. It was less than 250 years ago that most everyone was an immigrant, it just takes time for things to evolve and change.

Immigrants from European nations with similar values. The population influx these days are from countries that do not share values let alone ancestry.

You'd be surprised at how varied the values actually were form the different Euro countries. A lot did NOT get along at all but over time they did grow to share the same values. And the world is a growing and transforming place, one cannot stop change, but adapt and overcome and learn to live together.

That's only sort of a partial response to the question. I'm not asking why are these immigrants from shitty nations.I am asking why it seems the USA is so keen on taking these people in.
