Are we called phuckers?
It's not just you or your age. I also raised my eyebrows at the name, but I wasn't consulted, not that I have any brilliant ideas.
The idea of a name that's a play on a word or phrase (Reddit - "read it" and Voat - "vote") is all fine and good, but seriously...any other word might've been more acceptable.

Yeah, I'm not pushing for a change, either ... just speaking out my 'first impression' thoughts. The fact is, it's a great place and a bit of a shame that some might be turned off without even giving it a chance. But again, it is what it is and I can live with it.

I'm just an old guy - LOL - so may be more offensive to my delicate sensibilities than the vast majority of your audience, not that I'm a prude, either. I do wonder though after having those original thoughts, how many others might be turned off by it too.
