Three years jerking off with voaters tends to warp ones views. Plus srs made this place right ;) I don't know if there are any Germans here so nsfw in case kikel is spoken of poorly.
The death of one man is a tragedy, the death of millions is a statistic.

Once you have to start counting the zeros, you've gone past the imaginable.
It's like turning the volume up to 11. The number may be higher, but the sound is the same.
You've hit absolute evil and plateaued.

I think he means that it is condemnable and horrible whether there was one, six or twently million dead people at the end. If we evaluate the influence of a political regime, we should be repulsed by it regardless of number of millions.

Depends on which school you're referring to. I suspect different truths were taught at different schools at different times.
But I do believe, more or less, what I was taught in my school. The Nazis executed undesirables. Jews, communists, homosexuals, and others.
So did the Russians, Chinese, and occasionally the west. The Nazis were systematic and focused about it though, and left a lot of evidence behind. Combine that with losing the war and the right to author the history books, and they come out looking very bad.
Which is fine, because they were.
Numbers vary, but once you've got that many 0's it doesn't matter if it is 1 million or 100 million.
They may not have been the only bad guys, but they certainly were bad guys.
