What's your opinion on numbers stations?

I first heard about them give years ago and have always been fascinated by them.

I've done a lot of research into them and have always been frustrated by it ending with "dunno, spy shit."

Anyways what's your thoughts?

"dunno, spy shit" seems to sum it up well.
There is just no information to work with. We can speculate, but without evidence it is nothing more than guessing. And we'll probably never know if we were right.

It is an interesting topic, but also a frustrating one because we can not know the answer, and never will.

My thoughts exactly. There's been a few mentions and questions come up over the years. Like the British guy who's quoted as saying "they're not for public consumption."

But very little is concrete and most information is purely speculation.

What's your opinion on numbers stations?
