If I am trapped in a situation where I am going to be bored for a while, such as having to sit in a waiting room, I have a mental exercise where I create a doomsday plan. Sometimes it will be a zombie apocalypse, but it could be nuclear war, a large natural disaster or even something more immediate like making an exit strategy if someone runs into the room with a shotgun.
I'm not a prepper or anything like @pembo, it's just a thing I've done for as long as I can remember. So yeah, what is your doomsday plan, whatever your chosen doomsday scenario may be?

Depends on the scenario.
Zombie apocalypse and massive war where enemy ground troops enter the continental US (that I don't feel compelled to fight for, for some reason; I likely would if things got that dire), prompts an exit to the most remote parts of Montana to live out the rest of my days with family and complete self-reliance for sustenance and the like. As long as we remain low-key, discovery is likely not an issue.
Nuclear war has a decent chance of me dying on the spot, since I live next to a great deal of oil production and refining in this country. If the enemy is thinking long-term, economic warfare, several spots relatively near me present viable targets. If I don't die in the blast, I expect to perish from radiation soon after.
Man with a shotgun in the house is simple enough - pull out my shotgun and don't suck. God bless the USA.
