I was going to go to bed but my last post made me want to find my go to exasperated quote which is from Baldur's Gate - all the guards say "I should have joined the army" in the first area of the game. Unfortunately I couldn't find a decent version of it quickly but it made me think of my all time favorite quote from a game and quite possibly anything else - "So I Kicked Him In The Head Until He Was Dead! hahaha". I really ought to just make a youtube channel for all the quotes from Baldur's Gate that I love.

There are a few here and there that kind of stick out to me. I mostly prefer larger scenes and the greater context than individual quotes, but some stuff is good on its own.

Been playing a ton of Sengoku Rance recently, so a few of Rance's quotes sticks out in my mind. Rance is a westerner in Japan in this game. He's borderline reckless, tries to sleep with every woman he sees, and extremely crass with people, just to give you an idea of his personality.

(Upon capturing a particular country's capital and taking their women) "The victorious country gets to take the defeated country's princess. This is common knowledge."

(Talking about a general under his command to a third party) "He's a lolicon and a homo? That's seriously bad."

From Ace Combat 4 - during the second to last mission, when you're fighting for the enemy's capital, the direct antagonists to you, the enemy's elite Yellow Squadron makes a last stand for their nation. When you enter engagement range of their squadron, squadron leader Yellow 13 (who is never named and you've been following around for most of the game in cutscenes) tells his squad - "Engage as a formation, no single-ship attacks."

In Ace Combat Zero, in the final mission, you have to face off against your former wingman in 3 stages. When the third stage begins, it's timed, and you only have 4 minutes (on Ace difficulty) before you auto-lose. Your wingman begins a very short monologue as the third phase of the fight starts (it's worth noting in this stage you can only damage his plane by getting a missile into the front-air intake, so you have to fly at him head-on to damage him at all). "You and I are opposite sides of the same coin. When we face each other, we can finally see our true selves. There may be a resemblance, but we never face the same direction".

Can't think of anything else off-hand.
