That's when you make Lucifer your bitch and tell him to fuck off.

Somalia-style.

Logically I know religion is a tool to help quell our most primal selves and cooperate. Some things just stuck with you no matter how illogical.

I find religion to be far more than just that; like that's part of it, but religion is also 50 other things that you don't want to just forget about and ignore. I consider myself fairly religious, despite not ascribing to any particular religion; my wife is also religious (Catholic). There is a certain kind of truth in religion, but I have been thinking that fundamentalists have it wrong themselves.

I have been meaning to write a big post about it, since there's very little about it on here - I remain the only person to have ever posted in the religion sub - but I would want to sit down and get my thoughts together before writing something like that.

I've been meaning to do similar things in regards to Libertarianism, so as to spark further discussion on that subject as well; but I like relaxing in my free tree more than I like writing essays. :p
