I'm married, and rather like my wife, so spending more time with her is a plus.
I intend to have children, and would like to raise them and see them grow.
I like being alive, for a lot of reasons, and more time of that seems to be a good thing.
That said, there is something to be said about becoming so fragile or sickly that quality of life is so low and your age so advanced that willingly passing on via suicide might be viable. I can't imagine that point for myself - I'm personally very opposed to suicide - but I understand how people could reach that point for themselves.
