Are y'all going to send out private invites to trustworthy Voaters?

i dont think the mighty admins have made any decisions regarding the new situation but we havent been in a rush to get more users before the site is more established and polished. given the loads of donations putt has been getting today, i doubt we'll have to worry about what to do with all the voat users for a few months at least.

I've invited exactly zero people.

Mostly because I didn't want to step on admin's toes (I rather like them), and also because everyone I would invite is either already here or knows about it.

Only person I cared to see from there is here so no. There are a lot of good people there I just have no more accounts.

I already invited pretty much everyone I would consider inviting from Voat. I'm sure there are still some people there that would be decent users here, but if I'm going to spend time shilling the site to people, I'd rather pull small communities from Reddit that are unhappy with mods or admins. There are other sites I have considered too, but I'd like to wait until we have the frontend redone, more mod tools and maybe a few other features before we seriously start pulling users in.

I came uninvited, so it would be in poor taste to try to drag anyone else to the party. Plus, I don't know anyone on voat well enough to feel comfortable with PMing them casually.

I'd invite Redditors a LONG time before I'd invite anyone from Voat. I went here because Voat was getting too echo-chambery, to the point where it was worse than Reddit despite Voat having no active censorship.
